Can't add Google or Yahoo email accounts to Internet Accounts pane. Running High Sierra (max OS for my old hardware). Mail app started prompting me for a couple account passwords out of the blue, but kept giving me errors before I could even get to the password field to re-enter them (sorry I didn't save a screenshot). I removed the accounts entirely with the intent to add them back in from scratch. In SystemPreferences>InternetAccounts> when I choose the "Google" or "Yahoo" account set up option, I get the following error: "Connection Insecure / Failed to verify the server certificate. This could be because of your network configuration or your proxy settings." I tried this over two different internet connections with the same result.

Try a different browser and compare your results...(?)

You do not provide a link/ or exactly where you are in the process, therefore it is all guess work here— I made a reasonable attempt on a macOS 12.4 and did not see a issue with the FireFox browser...
