Apple Watch is showing the thermometer symbol

I have gone through all the steps above and still no joy and the Apple Watch is showing the thermometer symbol even thought he watch is cool.

My watch isn’t working. Won’t turn on. Has the thermometer symbol on it sometimes or the charging cable sign or the apple sign. I have followed all the advised steps but still no joy. Day one of my holiday and can’t track any exercise!
