How to remove touching of Top screen

My phone keeps having ghost touch for only the top of my screen and it happens very often I don’t know if it is a settings or it’s just the software or the hardware

IOS16 ghost touch Ive just updated my Iphone 11 to ios16 and it had started to do ghost touches. Ive never had a problem like this before and ive tried to reset it multiples times but nothing makes it go away. I can barely do anything because it swipes my screen down

Why does my iPhone X touchscreen get slowly worse? Ever since the iOS 15 update, my touchscreen has been experiencing ghost touches, and it is slowly getting worse. I reset my phone, reloaded with iCloud, and then it was fine again….for a couple of days. I have reset my phone 4 times and each time it is fine for a couple days but slowly the ghost touches start and slowly get worse until my phone is almost unusable. Why is this happening? And, is apple working on an update to fix this problem? Also, I took it to the Apple Store and they verified that it is not the hardware, it is a software issue.

That could be a symptom of a failing touch screen. Contact Apple to have it evaluated:
