Quicklook issue?

Hello

I can't preview some files using Quicklook when browsing

neither opening or importing them (in InDesign or browsers, for example).

I used Onix, I deleted Quicklook preferences, I restarted Finder, I fixed permissions...

Nothing seems to fix this issue.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Howdy,

So you can't even (Quicklook) view a screenshot!

Good troubleshooting so far.

Next, I would also try a Safe Boot to see if that helps.

If not, test under a different user to isolate if it's a user issue or system issue.

Let us know what you find.

Last time I saw something akin to this it was a failing 3rd party App causing it.

EtreCheck is a FREE simple little diagnostic tool to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac. It will not display any personal info.

Did you try Ivan54's suggestion of Safe Boot yet?

Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode? Could take 10 minutes or more.

Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Method 1:
