Where can I find the download for Monterey 12.3

I specifically need to update to Monterey 12.3 for Pro Tools. It must be that version and not anything later such as 12.3.1

Software update wants to automatically install 12.4 and App Store doesn't give me any option to choose the version I want either.

FYI I'm currently on Big Sur 11.6.2

Thanks

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 11.6

Q - " FYI I'm currently on Big Sur 11.6.2 "

A - Badly out dated as current version is 11.6.7

A - Strongly suggest updating Big Sur to most recent before attempting the Monterey upGrade.

A - Some have been successful and others have had Major Issues

A - The suggestions have been put forth on a volunteer basis, in good faith and in the best interests of the computer.

Terminal Command below

softwareupdate --list-full-installers

Then from there and again Terminal Command

softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 12.3

Above is predicated on the first command Listing version 12.3 as Available

You cannot specify which version you get from the Mac App Store. You can only get the most recent version available from there.

Link-> Get macOS Monterey

(Yes, you can request a specific version from Terminal, but unless there's a good reason for it, terminal commands should be avoided).

Pro Tools works on 12.4 too.

2022.6macOS Mojave (10.14.6)

untested, but expected compatibility

macOS Catalina (10.15.7)

macOS Big Sur (11.6)

macOS Monterey (12.4)

Thank you this is perfect! A command line to get the specific installer I need.

Yes I will follow the proper upgrade path, updating Big Sur first. I just noticed software updater gave me an option for "other updates available" which contained a Big Sur update in it. So I'm doing that first. But after that I will probably need this command line to specifically target 12.3. Thanks

App Store does not allow me to select the specific version of Monterey. But the command line tool is exactly what I needed for this so that's what I'll be using.

I won't be experiementing with unsupported versions, "untested, but expected compatibility" is too much of a risk.

I wouldn't recommend installing anything unless Avid officially supports it.
