AirPlay - technical issues with AirPlay

Hi,

I'm completelly blind and newbe with iPhone. I try to watch a video at Samsung QE43Q60AAU make a stream from my iPhone 13Pro (brand new). Photos - there is no problem, but with movies....really is.

I made a short video (with my phone) and there is no possibilities to see a movie at TV screen. Just have an information: This video format cannot be stream at this TV (or something like that - sorry for translation). There is no problem with photos - works perfect.

What kind of technical parameters should have a video file? I've got: 1920x960, 6-channel, hevc, mp4.

Sorry for unconvience.. I try to make me sure that I've made a good decision to chage a platform. Since 20 years I am a Samsung user and iOS is completelly strange for me :)

(don't kill me :) )

Hello pawgaw, No worries, On your TV do you have the Apple TV App installed on your TV HUB? Using your Samsung remote press the Home button to bring up the menu. Using the circle button arrow on the remote press the left side of circle button to arrow over to the Samsung App list. Press the App icon. In the upper right corner of screen press the search magnifying icon and do a search for Apple TV and add it to your menu list. You may need to have a Apple Id for full functionality. The TV and iPhone need to be on same Wi-Fi network. Open up your video on iPhone and look for the AirPlay icon. You iPhone should show your TV as an option. You may be asked to put in a code to link up the first time. Hope this helps.

Hello pawgaw, WoW you sure have a history using Samsung phones. I’ve never had a Android, but if I were to get one it would be a Samsung. I Currently have three Samsung TVs in the house. Two of them are the Frame models. After getting your reply I wanted to test my iPhone 13 Pro Max and took an 18 sec video of my dog. I AirPlayed the video to one of my Frame TVs using the Apple TV app and it played fine. The format was the H.264. I had the camera set to HD not 4K. Looking at my Camera settings please take a look on yours to see if it makes a difference. Settings > Camera > Formats > Select Most Compatible. Also on my settings same page I have Apple ProRes Under Video Capture > Off. Hope this will help.
