How do you edit an alert tone?
I do not see a way to isolate a purchased alert tone as a file in order to edit it. Has anyone been successful with this process?
Now that you have re-worded your question, it makes clearer sense. I am not aware of a way to edit a purchased tone from the iTunes store, try contacting Apple Support if you would like to be sure there isn't a way by clicking the "Get Support" button at the top of the page.
