is this a trackpad on your "MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.4" ?

Is this in the section "On My Mac" ?

Press the Control (same as a right click if using a standard mouse) key & clicking once on the trackpad to expose the contextual menu(?)

I never heard of an issue where you had to "hold the click function"....
