Did you open iTunes on your Mac and connect your iPhone, using the original Apple USB cable?

Which iOS is installed on your iPhone?


My MacBook Pro running El Capitan 10.11.6, recognizes my iPhone, running iOS 15.5

When I connected my new iPhone for the first time, iTunes had to download an update, o be able to sync my device correctly.
