Camera autocorrect

Hi there.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I bought it specifically for the presumably excellent camera. The problem is, most photos I take with it are autocorrected by Apple. I’m not using any third party app to capture images. The autocorrection is very obvious when in doors. I change contrast and brightness to my specification, and the pic looks good until I’ve captured it. Then for whatever reason the software brightens the image and makes skin hues look pink.

Why is it doing this and what is the workaround?

Hello ChrisColeraine1978,

Could you check the Lens Correction setting? Per Change advanced camera settings on iPhone, here's where to go.

On iPhone 12 models and iPhone 13 models, the Lens Correction setting adjusts photos taken with the front camera or Ultra Wide camera for more natural-looking results.
Lens Correction is on by default. To turn off Lens Correction, go to Settings > Camera, then turn off Lens Correction.

Thanks!
