Was this regarding a hiring matter? Did yo uinitiate contac twith Apple?
If you never applied at Apple, that would be a Big Red Flag.
If you have applied, then....
Usually, anything.apple.com is a legit address BUT scammer have been know to spoof trusted sites.
On a computer and with Apple Mail, you can click the down-arrow that appears next to the sender's name when you hover the cursor at the right end of the the address or sender name. This is an example I received allegedly from my email provider, where what appeared is NOT that provider's domain.
If you do all your mail on a phone, you should ask in the iPhone forum if this address check is available.
Yes, it is a legitimate email address from Apple.
All my receipts for purchases, notification of beta's, etc come from that address.
