SINCE THE LAST ONE OR TWO UPGRADES ON OUR IPAD, I CAN NO LONGER COMMUNICATE WITH MY INVALID HUSBAND BY FACETIME WITH MY IPHONE. IS THERE A WAY TO FIX THIS? MY GRANDSON TOLD ME THE NEW UPGRADE DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO CALL YOURSELF AS WE SHARE THE SAME APPLE ID. WE HAVE OS15.5

Give the iPad its own Apple ID. You can still share content using Family Sharing.
You'll need to sign out of the old Apple ID on the iPad.
