Scanner does not work with Monterey

Just got the Mac Mini with Monterey 12.4

I have a Canon Maxify MB 5060. The print still works fine but the new system will not recognise the scanner facility of the printer. Deleted and reinstalled all the drivers but still no joy. Any suggestions?

A Printer driver won't do anything for a scanner.

You need to look for some form of scanning software on the Canon website.

The built-in scanning interface is called Image Capture Architecture (ICA). If you can find software to enable that, you can scan through Image Capture. Otherwise, you will have to find a Canon scanning app for you scanner on their website.
