MB5320 on Monterey or Ventura?
Does anyone have any way to make a Canon Maxify MB5320 Printer/Scanner work on the Monterey or Ventura OS?
I Just got a new MacBook Air and it currently doesn't work with my printer/scanner.

Hi,
On the other hand, a Canon MB5320 is listed in the latest (en-us, December 13, 2022) About AirPrint - Apple Support article as a printer supporting the driverless AirPrint technology. Generally speaking, an AirPrint-enabled printer should be compatible with macOS (Monterey or Ventura), provided that the printer is connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router) as the Mac computer. Additional printer drivers should not be needed. So, you may want to check whether it would be possible to use your printer with AirPrint.
Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac – Apple Support (UK)
You may have to reset the printing system before/between tests:

As always, make sure that you have backup copies of all important files before testing anything.
It may be wise to verify that the latest printer firmware is installed.
Also, AirPrint works with wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) network connections. For stability reasons, it may be advantageous to wire the printer by Ethernet to one of the LAN ports of the Wi-Fi router (instead of using a wireless connection).
In case of difficulties with device discovery with AirPrint, you could try the following power-cycle sequence (with these waiting times; do not forget the router): Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the Mac, and all other connected devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the Mac. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.

Hello JoshTE,
Based on the details we've found on the manufacturers website, this particular model isn't compatible with macOS Monterey or Ventura. You can find that information under the Set-up/Install section of the following link: Canon Support for MAXIFY MB5320
Take care!
