System Data on iPad Pro increasing without a reason

Hi,

On my iPad Pro 9.7 the System Data has been increasing itself unreasonably and most ridiculously about 10gb in less than 48h. The ultimate solution is to backup my data and restore the device, but why is this happening?

I’ve cleared cache on every app that could possibly affect this. It freed space about 1gb and I had 15gb of free space. After one day and all of a sudden it’s been reduced to 5gb free space. System Data went from 5gb to 14.98 all of a sudden!!!

A simple restart would fix the issue, but now that’s beyond helping. There’s no resource or post or any kind of article addressing this issue in details. I don’t mind system data to stack up on my other devices. But for a system to stack up data all in a sudden it makes me think that something’s seriously wrong with my device.

Seeing 10-15GB of System Storage is not unusual - and of itself does not indicate a fault or issue. Your iPad will automatically manage its RAM and System Storage resources to provide optimum performance. System storage can be expected to fluctuate over time.

By example, my own iPad currently shows +10GB of System storage in use:

Allowing your iPad to automatically manage its system resources is generally recommended.
