iPad kindle app format

My iPad messes up the format of a kindle book I am trying to download. Looks like the original kindle book might be a scan. Seems to relocate bits of text. Hopeless?

The iPad specifically has nothing to do with the format of a kindle book… that would be the Kindle app. Contact Amazon.
