Hi, I purchased my MacBook Pro 14" directly from an Apple store, however when entering the MacBook Serial number on the Apple Trade In website it tells me the number is invalid. I am one hundred percent entering the number correctly. It is also happening with my iPad mini. I was hoping to find a solution on here as I do not like phone calls. Thanks!

Schedule time at an Apple Store, or Apple Authorized Service provider to review this invalid serial number issue. Also, with a bright light source, the serial number is on the bottom next to hinge, and on the product packaging label.

the 2021 14" may not be eligible for trade as of yet...
if in doubt about the SN you can copy it directly off the >About my Mac screen
Apple does not use Letter O in their Serial Numbers, if it is an editorial issue
You generally can not trade in models that Apple still has for sale.
