Blocked Contact
I recently blocked a deleted a contact from iMessage. When I went to look to see if it was in my blocked contacts list it did not show up. Is there anyway it’s possible for this to happen?

Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If those steps are done and you're still having an issue, try restarting your device and let us know.
