When I create calendar events, they appear as an 'invitation' from my spouse....?????

Hi,

For about a month now, when I create events in my iPhone on my apple calendar app, they appear as an invitation from my spouse and I need to accept them.

The events I create appear automatically on the "Home" calendar which is set up to be shared by my husband. If I change it to a different calendar, my work for instance, it still shows up as an event invitation from my spouse..
