I bought an iMac 24 model A2439 and the power cord that attaches to the back of the monitor is broken. It will not stay powered up. What are my options.

Broken power cord for iMac 24. I bought the device at Best Buy and they do not carry any power cords for the iMac 24. What are my options?

No USB Type-C signal MacBook Pro M1 with Monitor Dell U2722DE Yesterday I come back home and turn on my Mac and my monitor was not 'connecting' with "No USB Type-C signal" message. Like the Mac was turned off. So weird because it's always on and charging with USB-C. Open the lid and login to the Mac and notice an update, "Oh! it's something at the Mac"… restarted and after OS update same error "… No signal". Turn the Mac and monitor off multiple times and nothing, changed the USB cord, connected HDMI (with adapter). I was not able to understand or get it fix… After browsing a while at reedit found the solution. Unplug and plug in the monitor after 5 minutes. Unbelievable. I can't believe it was that, I hope this help others. Cheers! -JR

Take the iMac back and return it or exchange it for another.
