Bluetooth Page Turner, iPad Pro (1), Adobe not working properly

I saw an old thread regarding this and wonder if anyone has had any update or luck making a bluetooth turner work using an iPad (Pro, 9.7) (running 15.5) with Adobe Acrobat (newest version 22.06.00)

The bluetooth page turner works in Kindle. Not very good when my notes are in PDF and Acrobat, and I need to switch without touching the screen

Does anyone have a suggestion on a PDF reader in iPad that will work with such a page turner? Note: the page turner says it would support up/down, left/right in Android, but only left/right with iOS. However on my iPad and Adobe it doesn't function at all.
