IPad: link from mail leads to “Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found.”
This started occurring on my iPad Pro over the last several months. I’ll get an email, say, from The Atlantic or Axios or other legit sender with a link to a story. On my iPhone, clicking the link leads to the correct page being rendered. On my iPad, however, clicking the SAME link in the SAME message goes to:
Safari cannot open the page because the server cannot be found.
An actual link from Axios that exhibits this behavior:
iPad Pro 11, iPadOS 15.5
iPhone 13 Mini, iOS 15.5
All on the same local network.
I’ve tried clearing history and data in Safari, no luck.
On both devices, the network config for Wi-Fi, “Private Wi-Fi Address” and “Limit IP Address Tracking” are enabled. I don’t find any differences in the configuration of these two devices.
Anyone have any ideas?
