MacBook Pro - Apple TV app - HDCP error

Wanted to offer my solution since I have not seen it. Movies play okay while streaming. They get the HDCP error if you download it. Remove the download and it will play.

Apple TV Library - Unable to process this Request ERROR The below image is what I get on my system all the time. I have a macbook Pro and an Apple TV. I also have a library via Apple TV App on my computer that houses movies and tv shows. All..... ALLLLLLL my tv shows and movies are downloaded. NOTHING is streamed except via a local network to access said Library. My download/upload speeds are very high and this has only started about 6 or 7 months ago. There are no updates to either devices. I've restarted both computer and Apple TV but instantly get this error message the moment I try to access my library. I can click on OK and my movie will start. Once that movie ends it should automatically load another movie ("Playlist") but again that error comes up. Unless I click OK, it just sits there. My movies/shows are also stored on an external Hard Drive which is where my library is read from. This HD is approximately 2 years old. Any suggestions at all? Everywhere I try to find assistance about purchasing movies. All my movies are bought and paid for and downloaded to my hard drive. There should be no reason to get this error message. HDCP ERROR This has been so frustrating. I can stream anything on Amazon Prime or Stan (it only streams the trailers and the content audio but no visual). I have tried on Netflix and YouTube and they work great. I was trying to play on Stan and this error comes up. I have tried every possible troubleshooting route; hard restart, uninstall, new HDMI cable, new port Apple TV update and still have been getting this issue. The purple screen is what I got on Prime one time after successfully streaming for about a minute of a show… which is the worst because it has shown me that it can work which only makes it harder to understand what the root cause is.

Apple TV video playback crashes every time within seconds of opening a video on my M4 Macbook Pro. I'm on macOS Sequoia Version 15.4.1, M4 MacBook Pro. Every time I try to watch a series with the Apple TV app, the video player crashes and closes itself within seconds of playback. It doesn't matter which series I'm watching. I'm able to use Apple TV streaming via the browser, but this is not optimal since the resolution is much better using the Apple TV app.
