Sticky Note Annotations in iBooks – iPad Gen9, iOS 15.5

Is it possible to move a Sticky Note annotation in iBooks – e.g. click and drag to the side of the text?

I noticed that when I created a Note, a locator icon (a small square) appears above and to the right of the text which is the subject of the Note. This obscures words in the line above. It’s not an insuperable problem – I can work-out what the words are, but it is annoying. It would be good to be able to click-and-drag the marker icon to one side of the text.
