Avoid duplicating songs on a playlist?

When I go to add a song to a playlist but that song is already on that playlist, is there a way to keep Music from creating that duplicate? Spotify and Tidal do this via a pop-up asking if you want to create a duplicate or avoid all duplicates (say if you're adding a whole album but already have a few tracks from that album on the playlist). I use massive playlists that I'm always adding to, and this issue might keep me from switching from Tidal to Apple Music. I know there are ways to find duplicates in a playlist, but I'd like Music to keep them from being created in the first place. Thanks!
