Is this a scam and how did this pop up on my phone ?

Hi I woke up to change Apple ID password on my screen . I couldn’t do anything on my phone until I clicked no . Then I seen a text about a passcode for my Apple ID. Does anyone know what this is ? I haven’t asked for a change
