Bootcamp Keyboard and Mouse not working

Hi,

I’ve just finished installing bootcamp (on a external hard drive) on my MacBook Air 2018. I’ve run Setup.exe from C:/Windows Support/Bootcamp, and restarted as it requested, however neither my built in keyboard or mouse is responding.

Please help!

I know this may not be helpful to most people facing this, but for me it just solved itself after a few days
