Using a late 2013 imac as a second monitor to 2019 imac

How do I use a late 2013 imac as a second monitor to my 2019 imac?

I believe it can be done using a thunderbolt 2 cable and a thunderbolt 3 adaptor but I am not sure. Has anyone done this?

Sorry, it will not work. Please read the link provided carefully. If you need an external display it is far better to buy an external display because:

Far more reliable.
Simple to setup.
Does not require expensive cabling!
