Suggestion for good USB C/Thunderbolt 4 to USB adapter.

Hi, recently I have got my first MacBook and I can see that all of my existing USB accessories will not work here. Hence, I was looking to buy a good USB C/Thunderbolt 4 to USB adapter. It would be great to have your suggestions.

Two of the most prominent options I've found are (you can share your experience/opinion on them too):

  1. Apple USB C to USB adapter
  2. AmazonBasics USB Type-C to USB 3.1

Feel free to drop other suggestions. Please note that I also need that adapter for using wired mice too.

I have several of the these simple nonda adapters (Amazon link). They are inexpensive, unobtrusive, and work with any device. I have used them with flash drives, external hard drives, keyboards, webcams, and the Apple SuperDrive (which some adapters don't support because it draws more power than the USB-A standard).

Doesn't take care of the problem where one has multiple devices. I plunked down $14 on one from Amazon that has 4 USB-A ports. I currently use it for a Logitech wireless mount receiver, but sometimes I plug in USB flash drives or a printer cable. It's not so great for USB drives that require more power, but that's an issue in general with these things..

I have about 5 different USB-C to USB-A adapters. They're all little rigid ones without a cable and work well enough. I've gotten them for as little as $1.50 plus tax. They all work as well as Apple's adapter. This is is from a store called Daiso. The price here is for 10, but if they have them in store it's currently $1.75. I've got two of them and they work just fine.
