How exactly were you accessing your synced music from CDs on your iPhone? Were you using Apple Music to access them in your library or were you using a third-party app? Where are you seeing that the songs are missing?

Did you recently turn on Sync Library in Settings > Music? Which exact iOS version is listed in Settings > General > About?
