iPhone back up password

I’m sure many have asked this question to Apple many times but there has to be some way to retrieve or restore the back up on a new device taking all possible proof of identity etc .

this is really upsetting with the storage increasing you cannot take back of a 256-412 GB of data that often on your mac .

i clearly remember not ever setting up a encrypted back up password at first place .

if I did it would save the keychain and there is no such PW there

Apple need help here !!!

If the backup is encrypted and the password is not known, the backup can never be used without that password.
