How do you search the iTunes store for a song to buy?

On my Mac, on the left sidebar, I see the iTunes store. I click it, and I see the main store page. But when I type anything in the search box, it searches my LIBRARY, not the STORE. I don't see any other search box or magnifying glass.

In your iTunes window, near the top left corner, see if there is a little arrow pointing to the left. If so, click it, and click it again and again until it goes away. Once it goes away, look near the top right of the window. There should be "Your Library" and "iTunes Store." If you don't see them, type in a new search term in the Search (near top left of window). At this point, there should definitely be those two options. Press "iTunes Store," and now whatever you search will be searching the iTunes Store.
