Wi-Fi has self-assigned IP address, cannot connect to internet

When I try to connect to Wi-Fi at my university, I get the message saying that Wi-Fi has a self-assigned IP address and I cannot connect to the internet. This only happens when trying to connect to networks at my university, and other networks don’t give me this message (for example, at home).

I have tried forgetting networks, adding DNS servers, renewing my DHCP Lease, and other solutions I have read online, but they don’t seem to work (sometimes it connects when I first turn on my laptop, but then after a few minutes the same message comes up).

Any other solutions?
