Weird message full screen

earlier today I got a pop up message that took the entire screen, I’m pretty sure it was a spam message but I’m worried, I never received this type of notification before, is my iphone in risk? The message showed up full screen with just “dismiss” button, what should I do? Should I be worried about my phone security? I checked my messages app and don’t have any new message there, please help.
