iPhone SE (2020) on Boost mobile not allowed

Here's my experience trying to activate an iPhone SE on Boost Mobile with a 1year prepaid deal:

Unlocked iPhone 7 Plus

Unlocked iPhone SE (2020)

Prepaid for the year Boost sim card and activation code: Orange card (5G) on the top right corner.

The online activation would not allow me to activate the SE IMEI. The site told me to call customer service. 4x - Customer service states that they cannot activate the SE.

Couple days go by, I try the online process with the iPhone 7 Plus, activation goes through ok. I get a number, all is fine.

I take the activate sim card from the iPhone 7 Plus and insert it into the iPhone SE = No Service

Check network info: Not available

Tapping Network Info: "Phone not allowed"

The iPhone SE was originally purchased from Cricket Wireless, and is unlocked "No carrier restrictions" running iOS 15.5
