Messenger Is Becoming Worthless

Every time I open messenger I am flooded with political beggars after more money. I've blocked hundreds of them but it doesn't make a difference. Block this one today, get three messages from them tomorrow, using different phone numbers. Is there no way to control this?

Stopping Unknown Texts esp. Political Ads/Texts I have all the settings set up properly to block unknown texts yet I am still getting ~10 texts today from people not in my Address Book which is getting very annoying. Most of these are political ads/text not even in my area code which is a huge waste of time. Tp be clear, I have done the following: Messages>Filter Unknown Senders and turned on Notifications>Customized Notifications>Message>Unknown Senders and turned on Blocked individual numbers when the text comes but they constantly change their phone numbers so this seems to be a waste On Phone>Silence Unknown Caller and turned On Even though I have all these setting like this for 2 months I am still getting unwanted texts. What else should I try?

How do i stop somos news from sending me messages? I constantly get messages from Somos News on apple messenger. I have tried to block them but it doesn't help. What can I do? Thanks.

Messenger is a facebook product. Talk to them about it.
