am having issues with the zoom on my iPhone 13 pro max
Pro camera. It automatically opens to x2 on both
video and photo and can't be zoomed out past x1.
The three options of 0.5x 1x 2x appear momentarily
when I open the app and then disappear. Portrait is
stuck on 2x and pano can only do 0.5x and 1x. The
whole app is a mess.
I have tried adjusting the Preserve Settings and also
resetting the phone.

At this point, taking the iPhone in for service so they can investigate the hardware will be the next best thing to do. Review About genuine iPhone cameras for more information.
