Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!

Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

It won’t let me give apps permission.

It didn’t start until recently. Whenever I go to upload a vid/photo/recording. It pops up with something that says “to do (whatever it is), allow access (whatever I need to access)” with options that say “go to settings” and “cancel”. It brings me to the settings app on my phone, but it doesn’t even show where I can give the app permissions. How do I fix this? What do I do?

Hello Rivkah_d2004,

We would like to see how we can help you with your app permissions. Follow the steps in this link to confirm your app permissions for that app: Control access to information in apps on iPhone - Apple Support

Cheers!

First, restart your phone. Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

Then, go try the app again. Control access to information in apps on iPhone - Apple Support

If you still have issues, you can try deleting the app, and restarting and reinstalling the app. Your data will be saved in the app servers once you reinstall and re-sign in with the same account.

Once reinstalled, try it again, and it may give you the option to grant access again. But if you still have issues, please let us know exactly what alert is shown, and what app or apps this is an issue with.

Thanks.

It won’t let me give apps permission.
