Missing iTunes music purchases

I recently upgraded my iPhone and for some reason some of my music is gone from my new iPhone and off my Mac computer. When I go into my purchase history I can find the song I purchased but there’s no way for me to get it back without having to buy it AGAIN! They still have the song in iTunes so it’s not like it’s been removed Help cause this is ridiculous

Switching iPhones shouldn't have affected your locally stored media in iTunes or Music. See Empty/corrupt iTunes/Music library after upgrade/crash - Apple Community if case the files still exist on your computer. Do you have a subscription to either iTunes Match or Apple Music? Any backup of your Mac or old hard drives, computers, or devices that you might recover these files from? Have you had more than one Apple ID?

When you find them in the store do they show with the legend Purchased rather than the price or play buttons? If you see it as purchased then it has been hidden from your purchase history. The ability to redownload past purchases is contingent on the item remaining in the store. On occasion the rights holder may remove content from the store. It may subsequently be reissued, perhaps by a different publisher after a rights transfer. Whatever the reasons it is sometimes possible for previous purchases to be withdrawn, and this detail is covered in the small print. You should download and backup all purchases.
