In that case, the only way to find them is to spot them using your eyes.
Nobody can do that. It is not possible.
If you have third generation AirPods, AirPods Pro or AirPods Max, they are still associated with your Apple ID and cannot be used by someone else until this changes. Otherwise, anyone can use them.
