If you bought DIRECT from Apple, not through a reseller, you have 14 days to return your device for a full-value refund.
After that, the only way to do the upgrade you described is to convert your computer to CASH (by selling it) and using the CASH to obtain a computer that better meets your needs.
Memory has not been field upgradeable since the 2012 models. It is soldered to the mainboard for maximum reliability. The boot drive is soldered in place as well, for the same reason.
