I want to play Apple Music downloads from my Macbook Pro through my stereo system.
Will it work if I use the USB C port to my DAC to my receiver?
Or will the Macbook only export audio through the headphone jack?

With Apple Music on Mac, you should have the option to select the speakers to play the music; however, we'd recommend checking with the documentation that came with your DAC and stereo system.
