Hi there,
Why don't you try any of the below steps to see if it fix the issue?
- Try to forget the wifi from the iPad device which is not connecting and re-connect as a fresh connection
- Check for the router/modem if there is a limiter for number of device connected at a time
- Reset Network Settings on the iPad
