A little more than 1 year ago, I bought a Rose Gold Apple MacBook Air for my daughter. The rose gold colour has faded just in the area where the palm rests. Though the device is no longer under warranty, I would not expect this to happen within such a short span of time. Has anyone faced similar issues and how did Apple resolve them?
That's a cosmetic condition and it's not all that uncommon.
Some user's skin oils are more corrosive than others and there is little that can be done other than wearing gloves.
