Buying a MacBook in another country
So I live in Norway and I’m going to Spain next week. I am looking to be getting the MacBook Pro 14 at the Apple Store in Barcelona. Is there any downsides to buying an apple product in a foreign country?

MacBook Pro Warranty is international. If the keyboard layout isn't an issue for you, the device will work just fine in Norway. But if you get it home and decide you don't like it, you'll likely have to return it to the store of purchase. Why wouldn't you just buy it in your country?
Apple's online store in Spain does have quite a few keyboards available:
is there any other downsides then that?
It’s cheaper in spain

Even when you pay your country's import tax, if applicable?
That was going to be my next question. Surely, the OP will be required to pay VAT?
I’m not really sure. You guys may be right and I have to pay vat. In that case it’s obviously cheaper to just buy it in Norway
As far as I can tell, Norway isn't in the European Customs Union, but is in the European Economic Area. Kind of complicated, and I would look it up before making a purchase.
