I have never really figured out if it’s possible to buy an apple product abroad? I live in Denmark and consider going to Sweden to buy a MacBook Pro. Are there any issues about this, one should be aware of?

I believe the standard warranty on Mac computers is international. However recent changes (Summer 2022) to the optional AppleCare+ coverage say that Apple may not recognized that coverage outside the country of purchase:
That is the USA version of the document but I suspect it is the same in other countries.
We know for sure that even the standard warranty on iPhone and iPads are only recognized in the country of purchase.

You should buy in your own country's store - the warranty may only be valid in the country of purchase. Confirm with Apple with regards to EU regulations,
