is there a list of mac apps commonly used with Catalina that are not compatible with monterey

I'm moving from a mac laptop pro from 2016 running Catalina which has run out of space to a brand new mac laptop pro. I asked support when asking about a problem I was having about update on the new machine not working correctly, if she thought I should update Catalina to Monterey. She affirmed, yes, it would be the best practice. I thanked her and went hunting around about peoples experience with similar issues. I found much about incompatible software issues on Monterey but no advice about how to check compatibilities of software in general. Also, because my hard drive is so full, last time I was upgrading Catalina, I spent a long time on the phone with Apple Support trying to find enough space to do it. At the time, I ultimately succeeded in losing enough unused superfluous stuff to get the job done, but now I'm concerned. Is there master list somewhere that shows software that might give trouble in the process? Mostly I'm concerned about my photos memories and my music. I should probably point out that I"m not an iCloud guy and do my own backups on external hard drive. Thanks, any info welcome.
