Add my own images to screen savers

Plenty of info around about how to add pictures to the desktop library, but none of the documentation on screen savers tells how to add images. Earlier posts talk about third-party apps.

It is not exactly clear what you are trying to achieve.

Several of the available screensavers let you choose your own images - be it from a folder, a Photos album or even your entire Photos library. Other screensavers don't. For example, the Classic screensaver does:

If this is documented anywhere in user help, it didn't come up in a search.


By the way, when I changed the source for Classic to use the Desktop Pictures folder (which includes some of my own pictures), it automatically applied also to all the others, down to Snapshots, but not to Monterey, hello and the rest, which use their own image resources. Cool.
