Universal Control on Mac and iPad worked but now not working

My Mac (12.3.1) and Ipad Pro 11' (15.5) worked in the beginning flawlessly with Universal Control, I was able to use the trackpad from mac on my Ipad and was incredible.

Now for some reason it not working any more even when I have followed the instructions:

I have it both in the same wifi and same iCloud accounts. I have reboots both mac and ipad.

What should I do in order to restore this functionality?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.3

There you have it: My Mac (12.3.1) and Ipad Pro 11' (15.5)

The full release of Universal Control (not beta) came with macOS 12.4 and iPadOS 15.5.

You updated your iPad Pro to 15.5, but you failed to do the same in your mac, to Monterey 12.4.

The release notes said specifically that the full release version of Universal Control was not compatible with the betas,

and that you had update but the macs and the iPads.

Update your mac (now to 12.5, which was released yesterday) and all will be fine.

Hey rodrigorojas,

Start with installing the available update to your Mac as that itself resolves issues and installs important security updates. Here's a great guide on updating, just in case: Update macOS on Mac - Apple Support

Then go through the steps to set up Universal Control again to see if it's working. If updating doesn't help, there are some great troubleshooting steps found here: Universal Control: Use a single keyboard and mouse between Mac and iPad - Apple Support

If you're still having an issue, let us know a bit more about what happens when you try to use Universal Control. Is it not connecting, randomly disconnecting, or something else?

Keep us posted.

Take care!
