Transcend Jetdrive Lite 128GB not detected after waking up from sleep

I have a 2013 MacBook Pro running High Sierra 10.13.6 with a Transcend Jetdrive Lite 128GB card as a harddrive extension. I am using it together with the JetdriveToolbox application to unmount/mount the card when putting the MBA into sleep mode. It worked pretty reliable until some time ago, when the Jetdrive would not be mounted again after waking the MBA up. The card disapears and is not detected anymore, also by the disk utility, until I physically remove it and put it back into the slot or restart the MBA. Is anyone here using a Jetdrive Lite with his Mac and has similar problems? And maybe a suggestion/solution?

Hey there Macmanjy,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We're happy to provide some assistance.

Let's reset your SMC. The system management controller (SMC) controls how your Mac manages power. Take a look here on how to do this:

If the issue persists, let's see if this occurs in safe mode. Safe mode can help us determine whether an issue is caused by software that loads as your Mac starts up. Take look here on how you can start your device in safe mode:

Keep us posted.

Have a great day!
